Fr Antony Santhiyagu is a priest with the Missionaries of God’s Love, originally from Chennai, southern India. He began his journey with the missionaries in 2009, undergoing formation in Canberra, Darwin, and Melbourne before his ordination in 2016.
Since then, Fr Antony has served in several parishes across Australia, including St Declan’s in Sydney, St Benedict’s and St Scholastica’s in Burwood, Holy Spirit Parish in Darwin, and St Joseph’s Parish in Warragul.
He holds bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics, Education, and Theology, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Ministry. Fr Antony has a love for books, wildlife documentaries, enjoying fish curry, and finding peace in nature.
