31-May-2020 Update: Further Easing of Restrictions

JUNE: Week One and Week Two (TEMPORARY TIMES) – Further easing of restrictions now allows for up to 20 attendees in the church at any given time, apart from the small number of support people. Daily mass timings are changing and changes have been made to the times that the church will be open for private prayer.

  • A maximum of 20 attendees are permitted to attend these masses.
  • Parishioners who wish to attend a Mass, are requested to come to the church at a time when the church is open (see below) in order to register for a Mass. Out of consideration for others, please register for only one Mass in the week. Only when all Masses in the week have been filled will people be registered for Masses in the following week.

Please note: Registrations will not be accepted over the phone or via any of our online channels. Weekday masses are not broadcast on our YouTube channel.

Private Prayer in the Church

The church will be open for private prayer on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Weekend Masses

Weekend masses are not yet open to the general congregation and will continue to be available on our YouTube channel by 8:00 AM on Sunday mornings.

Sacrament of Penance/Reconciliation

Confessions are heard on a Saturday morning between 9:45 AM and 10:30 AM. For health and safety reasons, a protective shield has been installed in the Reconciliation Room.

General Safety and Social Distancing Guidelines

There will be a continuation of the hygiene and disinfectant measures as well as the monitoring of doors (entry door). The Records Book will be maintained and hand sanitiser is to be used before proceeding to occupy a designated seat in the church. The available seating is arranged as near to the sanctuary as possible. Please observe the signs indicating the entry and exit points.

Please note: The Adoration Chapel and Grotto continue to remain closed until further notice.
